Katakló Athletic Dance Theatre & I Solisti Filarmonici Italiani with the programm « Seasons« . An evening with the Kataklò dance company from Milan and music performed by « I solisti Filarmonici Italiani » with the violinistis Federico Guglielmo, Dino De Palma and Alessandro Quarta, conducted by Gianna Fratta. Kataklò is an Italian acrobatic dance company founded in 1996 by former Olympic finalist Giulia Staccioli, the company’s director, choreographer and artistic director. The name Kataklò comes from ancient Greek and means « I dance by bending and twisting. » Kataklò’s style is based on the performers’ athletic preparation and dance technique, who practice demanding physical training.

Vinicio Capossela – Vecchi Tasti, Camera a Sud.
The Italian singer-songwriter, poet and novelist on stage. Capossela is renowned for the highly original and poetic lyrics of his songs. Many of them draw from traditions of Italian folk music, especially those of his parents’ native Irpinia, part of the Campania province.

Renatissimo – Tribute to Renato Carosone with Enzo Decaro & Ánema, Enzo Decaro (narrator and singer), Marcello Corvino (violin), Biagio Labanca (guitar) Massimo De Stephanis (double bass) and Fabio Tricomi (frame drum and mandoline). Renato Carosone was a italian musician and a prominent person in the post-war Italian music scene. He was also a performer of the canzone napoletana.

Teatro Antico – Taormina
Amii Stewart – « Ci vorrebbero Mille Canzoni » (It would need a thousand songs). The American disco and soul singer who found prominence with her 1979 U.S. Billboard number 1 hit cover of Eddie Floyd’s song « Knock on Wood », often considered a classic of the disco genre. Stewart scored further international hits including « Light My Fire » (1979) and « Friends » (1985). She will perform with the « Orchestra della Magna Grecia » conducted by Piero Romano.
